What does Download House Plan sell?
Download House Plan sells downloadable house plan drawing packs for South African customers. Standard products are digital PDF drawing packs unless the product page states otherwise. Custom design and modification support can be requested separately.
What do I receive after purchase?
You receive protected access to the purchased digital drawing pack after verified payment. The package may include items such as floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, schedules, and general notes where they are included for that specific product.
How does PayFast checkout work?
Checkout is handled through PayFast secure payment processing. Your order is only treated as paid after the website receives verified payment confirmation from PayFast.
How are paid plan files delivered?
Paid plan files are delivered through protected download access after payment verification. Customers are directed to the My Downloads page instead of receiving a public file URL.
Are the PDF files stamped?
Yes. Paid PDF drawing packs are dynamically stamped with licence details such as the licensed owner, province, building site address, order number, and download date. This supports the single-use licence and helps protect the design.
Can I reuse the plan on multiple stands?
No. Standard downloads are supplied with a single-site licence linked to the customer, order, and building site details provided during checkout.
How should I print the drawing pack?
Print at A1 size using 100% / Actual Size. Do not select 'Fit to Page', because it may affect the drawing scale. You can print at PostNet or any professional large-format printing shop.
Can I submit the plan directly to municipality?
Not always. Municipal requirements differ across South Africa. Your local municipality may require engineering input, SACAP sign-off, site plans, energy calculations, or other project-specific documents.
What does council-ready mean?
Council-ready means extra documentation may be prepared to support municipal submission. Requirements differ by municipality, site, zoning, title deed restrictions, and project scope, so it does not guarantee automatic approval.
Are engineer fees included?
No. Structural engineer design, sign-off, municipal submission fees, land surveyor services, soil testing, and runner fees are not automatically included unless specifically quoted.
Can the plan be modified before building?
Yes. You can request changes such as room adjustments, garage changes, layout edits, or council-ready documentation. Extra fees may apply depending on the work needed.
Do I get CAD files?
CAD or DWG files are not included by default. Standard downloads are stamped PDF drawing packs unless the product page clearly states otherwise. If editable files are needed, please contact us first so we can confirm availability and pricing.
Is this a digital product?
Yes. The house plans are digital products. They are delivered electronically and are not printed or couriered.
How long does download delivery take?
The aim is to make the secure download available shortly after successful PayFast payment confirmation. Some payment methods may take longer to confirm.
What if I need council-ready drawings?
Contact us before or after purchase. We can advise what extra documentation may be needed for your municipality, site, and project.
Can I get a refund after downloading?
House plans are digital products, so refund rules are different from physical goods. Please read the refund policy before purchasing, especially where a file has already been delivered or downloaded.
